I’ve been part of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 695, Bison Robotics, since my freshman year, growing from a fabrication member to Business Captain, Pit-Crew Captain, and Design & CAD Senior. Over the years, I’ve designed critical subsystems, including the 2025 climber, which became the game-winning mechanism that helped us secure a regional victory and qualify for the World Championships. On the engineering side, I’ve learned advanced CAD and mechanical design through SolidWorks, developed custom high-performance motor systems, and led pit operations under intense time pressure to troubleshoot and repair the robot between matches. As Business Captain, I founded and now lead our team’s first-ever Business Subteam, securing over $1,500 in sponsorships, organizing fundraisers, managing outreach, and teaching members how to pitch to potential sponsors. Robotics has taught me not only technical skills but also the leadership, creativity, and perseverance that fuel my passion for engineering and innovation.
